The energy crisis is a very relevant issue which affects all of Switzerland's inhabitants. Therefore the Climate Strike has had a workgroup for some time, which is concerned with gathering information, formulating measures and planning actions on this important topic.
Demands:
- Rapid and massive expansion of renewable energies
- No gas and oil-fired power plants in Switzerland
- First and foremost our economy has to save energy
Concrete Measures on the topic are yet to be added to our climate action plan.
Plan:
- Distribute flyers in locations where power plants are to be built to encourage and stimulate local resistance
- Embrace the issue at the international climate strike, film speeches and produce a video from them
- Communicate: Social media, articles, speeches, videos ect.
- Potentially make objections against new power plants
- Ptentially plan demonstrations and other actions
